Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the Reunion Festival, is when family and friends gather together for various activities. Here at BRMCK (BRMCLLP/Barker), we invited parents over to our school to celebrate this Reunion Festival with their children on 2nd and 3rd September 2019.
Parents, together with their children, engaged in traditional activities such as mooncake and lantern making. The K2 children had tea ceremony with their parents, while the N1 children carried lanterns and played fun games with their mummy or daddy.
As the full moon is a symbol of reunion, our school focuses on bonding among family members while they engage in all the fun traditional activities together. Everyone got to bring home a little something – a mooncake, a lantern – and lots of fond memories. But what would be a better takeaway than the time spent with your loved ones?
